Cosmetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Robert Sigal finds great satisfaction in his cosmetic surgery and plastic surgery practice. Not only does it offer a challenge from a technical standpoint, but it allows him to help change people’s lives. Helping people be the best they can be, and seeing lives improved have become even more important to him than the surgical challenges that initially attracted him to a cosmetic practice.

Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Sigal’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Harvard College with honors. He received his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College and performed his residency in General Surgery at Harbor/UCLA, where he served as chief resident. During this time, he spent two years doing cancer research at the University of Pennsylvania. He returned to the University of Pennsylvania to train in plastic and reconstructive surgery and passed boards in both general and plastic surgery.

With his wide knowledge and extensive education, Dr. Sigal has contributed articles to numerous medical journals as well as to other media. He joined the Austin-Weston Center in 1994 and currently serves as its medical director.  Along with Dr. Weston and Poindexter, he has taught other plastic surgeons his techniques.  His surgical experience allows him not only to provide expert care and excellent results but also ensure comfortable recovery and an overall high-quality experience for all his patients. Dr. Robert Sigal is Board Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Sigal’s desire to help others extends into his personal life, as well. He actively supports several charities, including AIDS and cancer research as well as the Hunger Project, an organization focused on ending world hunger by empowering people in need throughout the world. He often raises funds for these charities by participating in bicycling marathons.

Dr. Sigal is the married father of two daughters. He also enjoys art, guitar playing, biking, yoga and skiing.
